Kirk Walter

Kirk Walter is currently the Senior Strategist of Legal Education at the Law School Admissions Council (LSAC) and has held this position since 2025. Previously, they served as the Associate Director for Public Services at the Bounds Law Library at The University of Alabama School of Law from 2023 to 2025, and as Assistant Dean at Loyola University Chicago from 2017 to 2023. Their earlier roles include Assistant Director at The University of Alabama (2012-2017), Staff Attorney at the Alabama Disability Advocacy Program (2011-2012), and Elections Counsel for the Ohio Secretary of State (2007-2011). Kirk's educational background includes a Doctor of Law from Capital University Law School, a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from The University of Alabama, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from The University of Georgia.
