Dave was global music lead at Burberry for much of the past decade, recruited by CCO/CEO Christopher Bailey to stitch music into the DNA of the brand. Through Dave’s strategic & creative music leadership Burberry became renowned for its groundbreaking musical pursuits and brand soundtrack.

A senior creative, strategic and commercially astute music executive with global & UK leadership experience plus high level industry and talent relationships throughout the music business, Dave is now a consultant and advisor on music to global brands via his company LSTNR, working in projects with the likes of Bang & Olufsen, LiveWire (Harley Davidson’s electric vehicle company) and Accor on projects with partners including Apple Music and Chanel.

Dave has broad experience within record labels (Universal Music, EMI, MUTE), brands (Burberry, American Express, Unilever), agencies (Cake, Mindshare, GroupM, Momentum), radio (XFM, Kiss FM), live music (KOKO, V Festival, Metropolis Music, Venue Group) and more.

Dave has produced soundtracks to 20+ London and Milan Fashion Week shows including unique live performances, partnering with Apple Music as official Curators on the platform from launch and releasing recordings of each performance.

Executive producer for numerous recording projects by artists including Duffy (for My Burberry Black) and Cara Delevigne (for Burberry Her), Dave has handled music supervision for dozens of adverts including global fragrance TV campaigns.

He also helped to launch and establish the careers of many emerging British musicians through ongoing collaborative partnerships including George Ezra, James Bay & Tom Odell, often ahead of the 'traditional' music industry.
