Amy Jones

Amy Jones has over 17 years of experience in technology and education, currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for the East Baton Rouge Parish School System since 2006. In this role, responsibilities include the installation, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of network infrastructure with Cisco routers, switches, and wireless controllers. Previous positions at the same organization include Director of Management Information Systems, Program Manager of Networks and Operations, WAN Manager, and WAN Specialist. Additionally, Amy has served as an Event Marshal for Louisiana State University since 2012 and was an Assistant Professor of Computer Technology at Nunez Community College from 2001 to 2006. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Information, Networking, and Telecommunication from Fort Hays State University, an Associate degree in Industrial Technology Management from Nunez Community College, and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from Louisiana State University.
