Andrew Becnel

Andrew Becnel is an experienced educator and researcher in aerospace engineering, currently serving as a Senior Instructor at Louisiana State University and as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Maryland's A. James Clark School of Engineering. Andrew has taught a variety of graduate and undergraduate courses, including Vibrations & Aeroelasticity and Aerospace Structures, while mentoring students to achieve success in peer-reviewed publications and prestigious competitions. Prior experience includes roles as an Engineering Design Consultant for the West Virginia Robotic Technology Center and a Research and Test Engineer at InnoVital Systems, Inc. Andrew holds a PhD in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and has been involved in significant R&D projects and partnerships, contributing to advancements in both aerospace safety and technology.
