Clare Falcon PhD is the State Geologist of Louisiana and Director of the Louisiana Geological Survey at Louisiana State University since September 2021. Previously, Clare held multiple roles at BHP from July 2017 to September 2021, including Operating System Leadership Coach and Principal II Geoscientist, providing geological and sedimentological support for various exploration and production operations in the Gulf of Mexico and Mexico. Prior experience includes exploration leadership positions at Eni in Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico, as well as senior geoscience roles at Statoil and Schlumberger. Clare has a strong academic background with a PhD in Sedimentology from the University of Leeds, alongside additional qualifications in business management and continuous improvement.
