Crystal Lewis

Crystal Lewis is currently a BioChemistry PhD student and Teaching Assistant II at Louisiana State University, with a focus on designing and performing experiments related to the biochemical mechanisms of DNA binding proteins in extremophiles. Prior to this academic role, Crystal accumulated extensive managerial experience at Luxottica, serving as Regional Manager II, Regional Manager, Area Lead, and Regional Trainer, where responsibilities included overseeing multiple store locations, developing talent, opening new stores, and managing payroll. Crystal also held a Store Manager position, focusing on daily operations and team development, while cultivating a strong customer experience. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Louisiana State University and previous studies at Delgado Community College and the University of New Orleans.
