Dale Walsh

Dale Walsh has extensive experience in various operational and emergency response roles, currently serving as an Operator at Westlake Chemical since September 2016, following the acquisition of Axiall Chemical. Additionally, Dale serves as an LSU Fire Instructor at Louisiana State University since January 2012. Prior experience includes a longstanding role as an Operator at Georgia Gulf Corporation, where duties also encompassed responsibilities as a responder captain and in hazmat response. Earlier in Dale's career, valuable skills were developed as a Police Officer and SWAT team member with the Plaquemine Police Department from February 1984 to December 2004, achieving the rank of Captain and serving as a shift supervisor. Dale's foundational training includes 16 years of service in the United States Marine Corps, attaining the rank of Sergeant and specializing in infantry, reconnaissance, and marksman skills. Educational training includes various certifications related to chemistry, fire science, and hazardous materials management from Louisiana State University.
