Daryl Trudeau

Daryl Trudeau is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in utility systems, project engineering, and operations within various sectors including education, construction, and energy. Currently serving as the Director of Utility Systems and Utility Systems Engineer at Louisiana State University since January 2019, Daryl previously held a role as Project Engineer at Granite Construction, where responsibilities included interpreting contract proposals, managing project schedules, and overseeing crew operations. Additional experience encompasses internships at USDA and Shell, as well as a significant tenure at Shell Oil Company and Schlumberger, where expertise in safety audits, project planning, and operation management was developed. Daryl holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Science with a concentration in petroleum from California State University, Bakersfield, and has completed additional studies in engineering at the University of Calgary and power engineering technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
