Douglas Weimer

Douglas Weimer has extensive experience in education and management, currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Louisiana State University since 1991, teaching various economics courses. Weimer held several executive roles within LSU, including Executive Director of Community and Professional Programs, where oversight involved professional development and enrichment programs, and Executive Director of LSU Continuing Education, managing a budget of $7.8 million. Previous to this, Weimer served as General Manager at Value Business Center and President of Alcor Systems, Inc., where the latter role involved establishing and expanding the first Apple Computer dealership in Baton Rouge. Early career experiences included roles in pricing and product management at Ethyl Corporation. Weimer holds both a Master's degree in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Louisiana State University.
