Eric Seneca, PhD, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of technology. Eric began their career in 1995 as a Computer Technician at Computer City, where they were responsible for computer maintenance and customer service. Eric then worked as a System Administrator at Computer Evolutions, focusing on server and workstation design and implementation. In 1998, they became a Programmer/Network Technician at Hammond Developmental Center.

In 1999, Eric joined Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center as a Programmer/System Analyst II, where they provided support for medical systems and coordinated with software vendors. Eric then worked as a UNIX System Engineer/DBA at Solid Systems, Inc. in 2001, supervising database and Unix environments for customers.

In 2002, Eric started their own company, Nichware Consulting, LLC, where they served as the owner until 2013. During this time, they gained experience in managing their own business and working on various projects.

In 2005, Eric joined Aegis Mortgage Company as a Programmer, primarily developing online loan processing systems. Eric then moved to Our Lady of the Lake College in 2006, where they held multiple roles, including Director of Distance Learning and Director of College Technology. In these positions, they were responsible for managing technology operations and conducting research in the areas of m-Learning and e-Learning.

Most recently, Eric worked at Louisiana State University as the Senior Director of Information Technology Services, a position they held since 2014. In this role, they oversaw the planning and implementation of technology services.
