Gabrielle Carpenter

Gabrielle Carpenter is a Doctoral Student at Seascape Ecology Lab since August 2021, with a strong background in marine biology and ecology. Prior experience includes time as a student in the Reef Ecology and Evolution Lab at Central Caribbean Marine Institute and a Master of Science in Marine Biology at Northeastern University. Gabrielle also held various internships, including roles at Marine Conservation Philippines and South African Shark Conservancy, and served as a Research Analyst at Industrial Economics, Incorporated. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and Environmental Science from Colby College, followed by a Master's Degree in Marine Biology from Northeastern University. Early experience includes being a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Colby College, as well as an intern at Back Bay Science Center, where marine education and research were emphasized.
