Gopal Srivastava

Gopal Srivastava is a doctoral candidate in Computational Biology at Louisiana State University, with significant teaching and research experience. Currently serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, Gopal has instructed multiple undergraduate courses in biology and biophysics. Previous roles include Project Research Associate at IISER Bhopal, where Gopal completed a project using machine learning to predict human gut bacteria interactions, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at The Ohio State University. Gopal's early research experience also includes leading a project on biofilm inhibitors and hands-on internships focusing on computational drug design and metal-tolerant bacteria. Gopal holds a Master of Science in Computational Chemistry from The Ohio State University and a BS-MS dual degree in Chemistry from IISER Bhopal.
