Gregory W. Hurcomb

Assistant Professor

Gregory W. Hurcomb is an accomplished academic and professional in the fields of architecture and design. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University since August 2021, Gregory engages in teaching, research, and service within the School of Interior Design. As the Founder and Director of Studio Gregory Hurcomb, an experimental art and design firm established in 2010, Gregory explores diverse and intricate agendas in visual and perceptual fields. Previous roles include a Lucas Guest Artist In Residence at Montalvo Arts Center, Adjunct Professor II at California College of the Arts, and various architectural designer positions across firms in California. Gregory holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and has additional education in photography and English language and literature.
