Jared Llorens

Jared Llorens is currently the Dean, Professor, Chair of the Department of Public Administration, and Director of the Public Administration Institute at Louisiana State University since August 2009. Prior to this role, Jared served as an Assistant Professor at The University of Kansas from August 2007 to May 2009. Jared's earlier experience includes working as a Human Resources Specialist for the U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Office of Personnel Management from 1999 to 2003, following a Presidential Management Internship. Jared holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Administration from The University of Georgia, a Master's degree in Public Affairs from The University of Texas at Austin, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from Loyola University New Orleans.
