Jennifer Curry

Jennifer Curry is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in school counseling and career readiness. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University in the College of Human Sciences and Education, Jennifer has been a part of LSU since August 2007, holding the position of Assistant Professor prior to the current role. Research interests include school counselor induction, career and college readiness, with a focus on the STEM pipeline and underserved populations. Courses taught encompass a range of topics including Introduction to School Counseling, K-12 Career and College Readiness, Group Counseling, Advanced School Counseling, Practicum, Internship, Play Therapy, and Counseling Across the Lifespan. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Counselor Education/School Counseling from the University of Central Florida, a Master’s Degree in Human Development Counseling from Vanderbilt University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Western Kentucky University.
