Joe Schwartz currently serves as the Assistant Coach and Assistant Director of Basketball Operations at Louisiana State University since July 2021. Previously, Joe held the position of Ticket Service Associate with the New Orleans Pelicans from July 2019 to June 2020. Joe also gained experience as a Marketing and Public Relations Intern at Dancie Perugini Ware Public Relations in the summer of 2018, where responsibilities included client proposals and media coordination for a significant grocery store opening. Joe was a walk-on basketball player at The University of Texas at Austin from May 2014 to May 2018, earning recognition as a four-year letterman. Joe holds a Master of Education in Sport Management and a Bachelor of Science in Communication and Media Studies, both from The University of Texas at Austin.
