John Flake

John Flake is a highly experienced academic and researcher with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as a Professor and Associate Vice President for Research at Louisiana State University since August 2014, John previously held the position of Associate Professor at the same institution from 2006 to 2014. Prior to transitioning into academia, John worked as a Senior R&D Scientist at Motorola/Freescale Semiconductor from 2000 to 2006 and as a Member of Technical Staff at IBM from 1999 to 2000. John Flake earned a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, completing the degree in 1999.
