John Papp

John Papp, CMA, MBA, serves as the Vice President of Finance for Online and Continuing Education at Louisiana State University since February 2022. With extensive experience in financial leadership, Papp previously held the role of Vice Chancellor - Finance and CFO at South University, where responsibilities included overseeing financial management for a private institution with significant revenue. Prior to that, Papp was the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at EDMC, leading a team in financial reporting for a large publicly traded education company, and managed capital planning initiatives. Papp's career began at PPG Industries in the Finance Leadership Development Program. Papp holds an MBA in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Pittsburgh.
