Karim Elkholy is a professional in the field of mechanical engineering, currently serving as a Professional-In-Residence at Louisiana State University since August 2015. Previously, Karim held the positions of Department Chair for Engineering and Computer Science and Associate Professor at Baton Rouge Community College from August 2011 to August 2015, as well as Engineering Program Manager and Assistant Professor in the STEM Division. Karim's experience also includes serving as Supervisory Mechanical Engineer at the US Department of Agriculture's Agricultural Research Service from September 2007 to April 2011, and working as a Research Assistant in Tribology at Louisiana State University from August 2000 to September 2007. Karim earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana State University and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
