Kayla Kucharchuk

Kayla Kucharchuk has a diverse and extensive work experience. Kayla began their career in 2006 as an Administrative Assistant at the LSU Foundation, where they provided clerical assistance and drafted documents for distinguished donors. Kayla then moved on to Louisiana State University in 2007, working as a Graduate Assistant in Corporate and Foundation Relations. In this role, they researched and edited proposals, facilitated the interview process, and scheduled appointments to build relationships with corporations.

In 2009, Kayla joined the LSU National Center for Biomedical Research and Training as an Operations and Plans Contingent. Kayla identified areas for improvement, established standard operating procedures, and maximized consistency in anti-terrorism course teachings. Kayla also attended an Executive Education course at Miami University.

Returning to LSU, Kayla took on the role of Experiential Education Coordinator at the LSU Olinde Career Center in 2009. Kayla increased internships and part-time jobs, developed partnerships for internship initiatives, and supervised Graduate Assistants. Kayla later became the Experiential Education Manager, leading efforts to enhance experiential education opportunities for all LSU students.

In 2019, Kayla transitioned to the position of Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition at Louisiana State University, where they were responsible for recruitment, staffing, selection, and employment. Kayla mentored a team of talent acquisition specialists and played a key role in the university's talent acquisition function.

In 2021, Kayla was promoted to Associate Director, Talent Acquisition. Kayla continued to lead the talent acquisition function, supervising and mentoring their team.

Kayla Kucharchuk attended St. Joseph's Academy from 1999 to 2003. Kayla then enrolled at Louisiana State University, where they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from 2003 to 2007. Kayla continued their education at Louisiana State University and obtained a Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA) from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their academic qualifications, they obtained certifications as a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) from SHRM and as a Recruiter Academy Certified Recruiter (RACR) from the Recruiter Academy in December 2020.
