Lacy McManus

Lacy McManus is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Workforce Development Director for the Future Use of Energy in Louisiana (FUEL) at Louisiana State University since September 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Executive Director of Future Energy at Greater New Orleans, Inc. from January 2023 to August 2024, and Program Manager--Employer Lead at Amazon Web Services from May 2020 to January 2023. Lacy McManus held various positions at Greater New Orleans, Inc. between 2013 and 2020, progressing from Business Development Associate to Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. Earlier experience includes serving as Special Initiatives Manager at the Center for Planning Excellence and as Project Manager at Upasana Integral Design Studio, along with internships in public relations, production, and editorial roles. Lacy McManus earned an MBA from Tulane University, an MA in Global Communications from The American University of Paris, and a BA in Magazine Journalism from The University of Georgia.
