Manos Chatzopoulos

Manos Chatzopoulos serves as CEO of the ParkZen division at Parking Guidance Systems, overseeing the expansion of innovative AI-driven parking solutions since April 2025, and also holds the position of Chief Executive Officer at ParkZen since January 2021, where the focus is on optimizing parking operations through hardware-free smart crowdsourcing technology. An Associate Professor at Louisiana State University since August 2016, Chatzopoulos has a strong academic background, including a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics from The University of Texas at Austin. Previous research experience includes roles as an Enrico Fermi Postdoctoral Fellow at The University of Chicago and an Interim Postdoctoral Research Associate at The University of Texas at Austin, specializing in supernova simulations. Chatzopoulos began a research career at the University of Crete as an undergraduate researcher.
