Michael Johnson

Michael Johnson is an accomplished academic and professional with a diverse background in management and human resources. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Louisiana State University since June 2017, Michael has previously held positions as an Instructor and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Central Florida from July 2012 to June 2017. Prior experience includes a role as a Junior Human Resources Generalist at Genesis Biotechnology Group, where responsibilities encompassed various HR functions, and as a Residence Director at Rider University, where strategic planning led to improved student and staff retention. Michael's career began in the music industry, serving as a National Production Coordinator at INO Records, overseeing marketing campaigns for notable bands. Educationally, Michael holds a Ph.D. in Management from UCF College of Business, along with an MBA in Management/Human Resources from Rider University and a BBA in Music Business from Belmont University.
