Phillip Breaux, GISP, is an experienced geospatial data analyst currently serving as a Geospatial Data Analyst III at Louisiana State University since October 2020 and as a Geospatial Analyst for the Louisiana Remote Sensing & GIS Workshop since January 2024. Phillip has been working with the NASA/UL Regional Application Center since 2013, providing GIS and environmental support on various projects and teaching GIS software. Previous roles include GIS Analyst/Planner at the Acadiana Planning Commission, where collaboration with federal, state, and local agencies was central to transportation and resiliency initiatives, along with a position as a GIS Contractor for the U.S. Geological Survey. Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and has specialized training in Geographic Information Science, along with a background in emergency medical technology and lifeguarding.
