Reid Bates

Reid Bates is a Director at the School of Leadership & Human Resource Development and a seasoned professional in Human Resource and Organization Development. They currently serve as an HRH Advisor with the Center for HIV/AID Research and Training, having previously worked as a Human Resources for Health Technical Advisor in Trinidad & Tobago. Reid has held various roles, including Professor and Director of the International Studies Program at Louisiana State University, and has gained substantial international experience as a Peace Corps Volunteer and Fulbright Scholar. They are pursuing advanced degrees in Human Resource Development and Leadership at Louisiana State University and Oregon State University, respectively, after earning a BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa.
