Robert Mann

Robert Mann is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in political and academic environments. Since July 2006, Robert Mann has served as a Professor at the Manship School of Mass Communication at Louisiana State University. Prior to this role, Robert Mann was the Communications Director for Governor Kathleen Blanco from January 2004 to May 2006. Additionally, Robert Mann held various positions with U.S. Senator John Breaux, including State Director and Press Secretary in both Washington, DC, and Louisiana from January 1987 to January 2004. Earlier in Robert Mann's career, experiences also included serving as Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Russell Long from January 1985 to January 1987. Robert Mann earned a Master of Arts degree in Humanities-History from California State University-Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Louisiana Monroe.
