Tao Jin is an accomplished academic with extensive experience in higher education and a strong background in information studies. Currently serving as an Associate Professor at Louisiana State University since August 2007, Tao Jin has also held positions as an Assistant Professor and Instructor at the same institution. Prior to this role, Tao Jin contributed to McGill University as a Sessional Instructor from 2004 to 2007 and worked as an Associate Editor at Dow Jones from 1999 to 2000. Additionally, Tao Jin was active in the Special Libraries Association from 2011 to 2013 as an Executive Board Member and Treasurer of the Competitive Intelligence Division. Educational qualifications include a PhD and a Master of Library and Information Studies from McGill University, completed between 2000 and 2007.
