Waheed Sabir

Waheed Sabir, PhD, is a seasoned professional currently serving as a Research Scholar at Louisiana State University since September 2024. Previously, Waheed held the position of Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Open Fiber from November 2021 to October 2024 and served as a Software Engineering Manager at Allisman in Shenzhen, China, from March 2020 to December 2021. Waheed's early career includes experience as a Mobile Application Developer while self-employed from January 2013 to August 2018. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Artificial Intelligence from Università di Pisa, a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Xi'an University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, complemented by foundational studies in Fundamental Science at Govt. Islamia College Civil Line Lahore and Matric in Science from Al jelan Boys High School Mananwala.
