Walt Holliday

Walt Holliday has extensive experience in academic support within collegiate athletics, currently serving as Executive Director at the Cox Communications Center for Student Athletes at Louisiana State University since June 2009, after progressing through roles including Director and Assistant Director at the same center. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director of Football Athletic Advising at the University of Maryland from June 2006 to May 2009, and as Assistant Athletic Director for Academic Support Services at Temple University from February 2001 to June 2006. Walt Holliday began a career in academic advising at Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where a role as Senior Academic Advisor for Athletic Academic Support was held from September 1994 to February 2001. Walt Holliday earned a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Upsala College between 1984 and 1989.
