William "Bill" Hunter is an accomplished academic and urban design professional with extensive experience in architecture and urban planning. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor of Practice at Louisiana State University and a Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Hunter has taught advanced architectural design and architectural topics since August 2020. Prior roles include Program Director at openhousenewyork, where oversight of year-round programming and urban systems series was managed, and Senior Urban Designer/Community Planning Strategist at AQ Studios, leading significant urban design projects and community engagement strategies. Additional experience includes research and teaching roles at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, where contributions to urban design practices and sustainability were made. Hunter holds a Master of Science in Building and Urban Design in Development from The Bartlett School of Architecture, a certificate from Design Academy Eindhoven, and a Bachelor of Architecture from Louisiana State University.
