Ankit Kumar is a skilled tunnel engineer with experience in tunnel boring machine (TBM) operations. Currently serving as an Engineer Civil-TBM at L&T Construction since May 2025, Ankit works on the Patna metro underground projects and subway tunnels. Previously, as a TBM Tunnel Engineer at Turkish Engineering Consulting & Contracting – TUMAS India Pvt. Ltd., Ankit contributed to the Rishikesh-Karanprayag rail link, which is recognized as India's longest railway tunnel. Ankit holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and a Civil Engineering diploma from BTE Delhi, along with a secondary education completion from the Central Board of Secondary Education.
