Sankar possesses extensive experience in manufacturing and quality control, currently serving as the Head of Manufacturing for TMBV Product at L&T Valves since November 1995, overseeing a product line with sales of Rs 150 crores from order receipt to customer delivery. Prior to this role, Sankar was a Quality Control Engineer at Shardlow India Ltd from June 1993 to August 1995, responsible for process quality and final product evaluation. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management from the Indian Institute of Materials Management, Mumbai, completed in December 2000, and a part-time course in Statistical Quality Control from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, attended in mid-1995.
