Jo Ward

Jo Ward is an accomplished professional in the field of coach education with extensive experience in the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) from 2001 to the present. Currently, Jo serves as the Head of Education & Qualification Pathways, previously holding roles such as Coach Education and Curriculum Manager and Head of Coach Education & Qualifications. Jo has contributed significantly to researching, writing, and delivering coach education focused on coaching girls and women. Earlier in Jo's career, Jo was a National Coach at the Gosling Academy, where collaboration with notable coaches led to the development of several junior prospects who later achieved world rankings. Jo's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Psychology from the University of East London, a Bachelor’s degree from King's College London, and a Master's degree from the University of Sussex.
