Pam W.

Pam W. has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Pam began their career as a Solicitor at MMS, where they gained experience in commercial property and intellectual property litigation. Pam then joined Lindsays as a Senior Associate, advising on commercial property transactions, small business sales/purchases, and collaboration arrangements. Pam W. continued their career at Miller Developments Limited, first as a Solicitor and then as Senior Legal Counsel. In this role, they led and managed a team, handling joint ventures, corporate, and real estate projects in the UK and Europe. Pam also worked as a Solicitor at Miller Construction (UK) Limited, where they provided legal advice on construction projects and frameworks. Pam W. later joined Standard Life, first as Senior Technical Consultant, then as Deputy Company Secretary, and finally as Senior Legal Counsel in the General Counsel's Office. There, they took on projects related to the Scottish independence referendum, insurance joint ventures in India and China, and various strategic/corporate/M&A initiatives. Pam also had responsibilities in corporate governance, company secretarial matters, and board support. Pam W. then worked as Legal Counsel at CALA Group Limited and as an In-house Lawyer with a focus on GDPR at Sainsbury's Bank. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Legal, Company Secretary, and Disciplinary Officer at LTA, where they oversee legal, regulatory, and sports disciplinary matters. Pam has led significant projects in governance and regulatory changes, and they handle a wide range of legal and regulatory issues.

Pam W. has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law from The University of Edinburgh, which they obtained from 1993 to 1997. Pam also has a Diploma in Legal Practice from the same university, which they completed in 1998. In 2009, Pam W. attended The College of Law to complete the Qualified Lawyers' Transfer Test (English law). Furthermore, they obtained a Certificate for Financial Services (Trusts and Estate Planning) from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 2012. Pam W. pursued additional education in different fields, including a Certificate in Mathematics and a Module in sport and exercise psychology, both completed at The Open University in 2010-2011. Additionally, they earned qualifications as an Exercise to Music (Aerobics) Instructor and a Gym Instructor from YMCA Fitness Industry Training in 2006.
