Pete Holmes

Pete Holmes has extensive experience in public service and volunteer roles. Currently serving as a Volunteer in Spectator Services for the LTA at the Rothesay International Tennis Open, as well as volunteering for the Touch Rugby World Cup and with Long Eaton United Football Club as a Matchday Manager, Pete also plays a role as a Park Ranger at Wollaton Park through Nottingham City Council. Previously, Pete held significant positions within various government departments, including Assistant Director for the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, where responsibilities included leading local economic growth initiatives. Other notable roles include Head of Team in Skills and Employment, HR Hub Adviser at the Government Office for the East Midlands, and multiple leadership positions at the Department for Trade and Industry and related entities. Pete Holmes holds a CIPD degree in Management, Personnel, and Development from Nottingham Business School.
