Shane Deacon

Shane Deacon is a seasoned tennis coach with extensive experience in performance management and coaching development. Currently serving as the LTA National Pathway Coach since January 2021 and as Director of TargetBound Sports Ltd since April 2020, Shane has previously held positions including 11&U Dorset County Performance Manager at Dorset LTA and 11&U Performance Manager at The West Hants Club. Throughout these roles, responsibilities have included planning training sessions, managing coaching teams, and developing pathways for young players. Shane's earlier career features a tenure as Director at Core Tennis LLC, where a performance coaching program was delivered, and as Head Coach at Totally Tennis Basingstoke, focusing on coach development and junior and adult programs. Education includes a Diploma in Art & Design from Basingstoke College of Technology.
