David Alderson

David Alderson has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and companies.

David is currently working at LTK as a Principal Engineer - Android, a position they have held since December 2021. Prior to this, they worked at LTK as a Staff Engineer (Tech Lead and Sr Software Engineer) - Android from April 2019 to December 2021.

Before joining LTK, David worked at Tata Consultancy Services as a Developer from July 2018 to April 2019. In this role, they were responsible for Android and micro service development on the Android Citi App NA.

David also has experience as a Founder and Manager at AldersoNet.com, where they developed revenue generating Android apps. David'stenure at AldersoNet.com lasted from April 2009 to July 2018.

David was a Project Director and Program Manager for Senior Vice President and Provost at Unversity of Maryland from February 2002 to April 2006. David served as the Vice President of Engineering, Director Financial Services, and QA Director at iXL from January 1999 to November 2001.

David's earliest work experience includes positions at University of Maryland College Park as an Applications Manager from 1995 to 1998 and as an Assistant Directory for New Technology and Distributed Systems from 1985 to 1998. In these roles, they were involved in designing, coding, implementing, and maintaining mission-critical systems. David was also responsible for project management and hands-on development work using languages such as Java, C, C++, and COBOL.

David Alderson attended the University of Maryland from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree. David'sfields of study were Computer Science and English. Additionally, they obtained two certifications from Oracle: Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 8 Programmer in October 2016, and Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer in August 2016.
