Rick Schmitz

Rick Schmitz has been working in the tech industry since 2008. Rick began their career at Deloitte Amsterdam Tax as an Analyst and Tax Assistant. In 2011, they moved to PwC as a Private Equity and M&A Tax Lawyer. In 2013, they co-founded Firm24 and in 2014 they co-founded LegalThings, providing document and process management software. Since 2019, they have been the CEO and Co-Founder of LTO Network, a decentralized workflow solution to enable workflow automation on processes between multiple organizations.

Rick Schmitz obtained a Master in Tax Law from Erasmus University Rotterdam between 2003 and 2009. Prior to that, they attended Aloysius College Den Haag from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a VWO. Rick also attended PHP school, although no further details are available.
