John Patrin

John Patrin is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in corporate innovation and marketing within the specialty chemicals and water purification sectors. Currently serving as Senior Director of Corporate Innovation and Managing Director of InnoVentures at The Lubrizol Corporation, Patrin focuses on driving long-term business growth through innovative strategies. Previously, Patrin held significant roles at DuPont, where responsibilities included global marketing and innovation for the Water Solutions division, and at The Dow Chemical Company, managing marketing and product strategies for water and filtration business units. Early career achievements include driving substantial revenue growth and market share increases in both Veeco and Wavecrest, alongside a strong foundation in engineering management and product marketing since the mid-1990s. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering and a B.S. in Physics from the University of Minnesota and Saint John's University, respectively.
