Michael Potts has over 35 years of experience in the field of safety, health, and environmental management. Currently serving as the Manager of Responsible Care at The Lubrizol Corporation since December 2000, Michael has previously held positions such as Safety Superintendent and Manager of Environment, Health, and Safety at Noltex. Michael's career began in 1990 at Sun Pipeline Company, where responsibilities included developing safety programs for a vast network of hydrocarbon pipelines. Prior to this, Michael managed EHS compliance at Sun Refining and Marketing and worked as a Senior Industrial Hygienist at Rubicon Chemicals. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology and Psychology from Texas A&M University.
