Patrick Mosier

Patrick Mosier has over two decades of experience in the chemical industry, currently serving as an Intellectual Property Manager at The Lubrizol Corporation since October 2000. In this role, Patrick develops and manages a global intellectual property strategy for industrial products and new business development, collaborating with legal, operations, and business managers to implement patent strategies that offer a competitive advantage. Previous positions at Lubrizol include Technology Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing competitive analysis and managing the intellectual property portfolio for the Engine Oils group. Patrick's expertise also encompasses component development and research chemistry, with an earlier position as a Research Chemist at BP Chemicals focusing on catalyst development. Patrick holds a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Michigan and a B.Sc. in Chemistry from Purdue University.
