Jil Bournazel

Jil Bournazel is a Senior GIS Consultant at LUC since January 2023, previously serving as a Senior Earth Observation & GIS Analyst and Earth Observation and GIS Analyst at Ecometrica from July 2016 to December 2022. Jil has also held roles as a Digitiser and GIS Caseworker with The Scottish Government from May 2014 to July 2016 and worked as a GIS and Remote Sensing technician during an internship at Edinburgh Napier University in 2013, contributing to projects focused on coastal landscapes in Sri Lanka and carbon stocks in East African mangroves. Jil's academic background includes a Master of Science in GIS and Environmental Management from Nantes Université (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Freshwater and Marine Biology from Edinburgh Napier University (2010-2011).
