Poppy Simmonds

Poppy Simmonds is a Geographic Information Systems Consultant at LUC, with previous experience as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at Cyient and a Contractual QGIS Analyst at Space Intelligence Ltd. Poppy's contract role involved utilizing QGIS and Sentinel-2 data to create training data for machine learning applications in land classification. In addition to roles in the hospitality sector as Front of House at wagamama and Maki & Ramen, Poppy's early experience includes a position as a Sales Floor Team Member at Target while pursuing high school education. Poppy holds an MSc in Geographical Information Science from The University of Edinburgh and a BSc Hons in Geology from the University of Plymouth.
