Steven Orr is an accomplished Director of Historic Environment at LUC, with a focus on assisting public and private sector clients in understanding the historic environment and fostering sustainable planning responses. With a robust background as an Associate Environmental Planner, Steven possesses extensive experience in research, policy development, environmental assessment, and site-specific planning. Key contributions at LUC include the creation and evaluation of planning and environmental guidance, alongside providing strategic advice to a diverse clientele. Prior to LUC, Steven served as a Senior Environmental Planner at the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland. Educationally, Steven holds a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from Heriot-Watt University and an MA (Hons) in Archaeology from The University of Edinburgh.
