Stephan Schultz has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Stephan is currently working as the Head of Android Development at luca. Prior to this, they founded their own business called Steppschuh in 2012, where they delivered software and took up freelance jobs. During their time at neXenio from 2016 to 2022, Stephan held multiple roles including Lead Software Engineer and Senior Android Engineer. Stephan led the development of various projects such as the native luca app for COVID-19 tracing and SEAMLESSme, an access control solution using smartphones or wearables. Stephan also worked as an Android Engineer at notebooksbilliger.de AG and as a Lead Android Engineer at Hasso Plattner Institute, where they managed a team of 18 developers. Stephan has experience in developing mobile apps, web development, and backend development.

Stephan Schultz completed their Abitur in Media & Design Technology from Oberstufenzentrum Luckenwalde Landkreis Teltow-Fläming in 2012. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in IT Systems Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute from 2012 to 2016. In addition, Stephan has obtained several certifications, including Usability Engineering UXQCC (ISO 9241) from AcademyOfUX in July 2021, Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) and Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) from Scrum.org in December 2020 and November 2020 respectively. Stephan also achieved a Microsoft Technology Associate certification from Microsoft in April 2013.
