Bernard Deffarges is a software engineer and architect with over 20 years of professional experience in software development. After beginning programming at the age of 10, they dedicated a significant portion of their career to the pharmaceutical industry, where they held various senior positions, including roles at Idorsia, Actelion, and Roche. In 2019, they co-founded LLAAMA, where they serve as CEO, focusing on engineering cloud-native distributed systems for healthcare R&D. Bernard is also the CTO of BioFi, working on a virtual biology platform, and co-founded Ekiya to provide AI and data strategy solutions.
