Won Kang

Won Kang is a seasoned professional in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Senior Director of Quality and Product Engineering at Lucid Microsystems since June 2025, focusing on the quality and reliability of GaN PMICs, controllers, gate drivers, and related products. Previously, Won held the position of Senior Engineering Manager at Alpha & Omega Semiconductor, overseeing HV MOSFETs, IGBTs, and power modules from April 2019 to June 2025. Prior experience includes engineering management roles at ON Semiconductor, where responsibilities included new product test engineering for e-Fuse power ICs and technical leadership for inter-business unit initiatives, and at NXP Semiconductors as an analog NPD engineer.
