David Torgerson

David Torgerson has extensive experience in technology and security, currently serving as the VP of Technology and Security at Lucid Software since July 2013. In this role, David is instrumental in ensuring that internal technology and security meet the demands of the company’s rapid growth. Previously, David held the position of Sr Director of DevOps and was responsible for the performance of the ops, devops, IT, and security teams. As the first DevOps professional at Lucid, David focused on infrastructure architecture and budget management. Prior to Lucid, David worked at FamilySearch as a Sr Devops Engineer, managing production applications and facilitating a significant infrastructure migration to AWS. Additionally, David has experience as a Security Engineer, implementing data classification standards and security policies at both FamilySearch and Fidelity National Information Services, where David monitored intrusion prevention systems and managed corporate security solutions.
