George Jones

George Jones is an experienced Laboratory Manager currently at SGS since April 2022, with a strong background in inorganic analysis and chemistry spanning over two decades. Previously, George held various positions at Lucideon from October 2010, including Development Scientist and Laboratory Delivery Manager, where responsibilities included the development and validation of analytical methods and the management of quality systems. Before that, George worked as a Technical Specialist and Inorganic Analytical Section Head at Alcontrol Laboratories, overseeing a team and maintaining quality certifications. George's earlier roles included Chemist at Amdel Mineral Laboratory and Metallurgical Technician at Ammtec Ltd, focusing on geochemical analysis and sample preparation. George holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Chemistry from Curtin University, completed in 1999, and attended Wesley College in Perth from 1991 to 1994.
