Stuart Maclachlan

Stuart Maclachlan is an experienced professional with a background in materials engineering and research and development. From 1978 to 1996, Stuart served as a Senior Materials Engineer at Silent Power. Following this role, Stuart worked at TWI from 1996 to 1998 in Business Development Collaborative Projects. Most recently, Stuart was involved with the MaterialsMatrix Community as the Let's Collaborate Subcommunity Co-Manager from March 2021 to April 2023, and at Lucideon from September 2022 to September 2023, holding various titles including R&D Manager - AMRICC, Strategic R&D Manager, Director of R&D, and Head of Research And Development. Stuart holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Metallurgy/Oxidation studies from The University of Manchester, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Materials Science and Technology from the University of Bradford, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Open University.
